Buying a
Quailridge Birman
Our
cats and kittens are cherished members of our family. They are raised in our
home, not in cages, with lots of love and attention, living a very pampered
life. Being very attached to all of our fur-babies, we are very selective as to
who we let our kittens go home with. So we have a few questions for you if you
are interested in one of our babies. When buying a kitten from us, we have a
contract that both parties sign.
Our
kittens will be available to go to their new homes when they are around 14
-16 weeks
of age. This allows the kitten enough time to finish socializing and be weaned
from mom. Also gives us time to make sure the series of vaccinations are
complete. You have 48 hours to have the kitten checked by your Vet and if
any problems are found and you want to return the kitten, I will refund the
purchase price of the kitten when it is returned
within the 48 hours. If a fatal genetic defect is found, the kitten
will be replaced by another kitten when a necropsy has been performed (at the
purchasers expense) and the records are supplied.
We
require that the kitten be an indoor cat only and can NOT be declawed. No FIP
or FELV vaccination is allowed or my health guarantee will be voided. These
vaccinations are very controversial and risk the health of the animal. We
require the name and phone number of your Veterinarian before picking up the
kitten.
If you
would like to reserve a kitten, a $100 non-refundable deposit will get you on
our waiting list and hold a kitten for you until the kitten is ready to go to
its new home.
